Blush was established in 2006, when company owner, and lead photographer
Kristen Truax wanted to focus on people and places of Seattle. She graduated
from The Art Institute of Seattle in 2002, lived in Los Angeles and Red Bank,
New Jersey before she settled back into Seattle. Kristen's hard work and
dedication has made Blush the product of her over 10 years of photography
training.
Photos by Blush have been featured in GQ, Seattle Sound, and Seattle
Metropolitan magazines; The Stranger, McLeod Residence, Gibson Guitar,
Neumos, Pretty Parlor; and have done ad work for T-Mobile, Yaris Toyota, and
Wexley School for Girls.
“Kristen and Blush Photo were one of the better photo experiences I’ve
had. It was a shoot where I was a little out of my element and comfort zone. She
did a great job of making it a fun experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to work
with Blush again. Bottom line: Blush = Awesome.

“Fantastic Photographer, Blush brings images to life with vivid energy. Very
self-motivated, reliable and so much fun to work with!
--Laurie Kearney, Independent Curator, Ghost Gallery
“Kristen is one of the few photographers I look forward to seeing. She
uncannily manages to capture everyone’s true spirit at our events without
making them seem posed. Her subjects all look like celebrities. However, when I
am climbing out of my limo in a miniskirt sans underpants, she’s nowhere to
be found. Lame.

"I have worked with Kristen and Blush Photo professionally for on-site project
photography for BIGink llc as well as personally for portrait work and have
always been very pleased with outcome and have enjoyed the process. Kristen
has the rare blend of personal style in her work with an ego-less approach which
yields great results. I look forward to a continued partnership with Blush Photo."
